Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups (192g) all-purpose flour (plus more for dusting the pan)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons Everything Bagel Seasoning (plus more for sprinkling)
- ½ cup (1 stick or 113g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) packed light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons milk
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal. Lightly flour the parchment.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in 2 tablespoons of Everything Bagel Seasoning.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Whisk in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined. Stir in the milk.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining Everything Bagel Seasoning evenly over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Watch carefully to avoid overbaking!
- Let cool completely in the pan before lifting out using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into 16 squares and serve.
