  • 1 cup mayonnaise, full-fat for best flavor
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste

Instructions:

  1. Shred the cabbage, carrots, and dice the onion.
  2. Place the shredded cabbage, carrots, and diced onion in a large mixing bowl.
  3. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sugar, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, celery seed, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Pour the dressing over the vegetables in the large mixing bowl. Toss well to ensure all vegetables are evenly coated.
  5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
