Ingredients:
- ½ cup mayonnaise (120 ml/120 g), full-fat
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (30 ml)
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar (25g)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (15 ml)
- 1 teaspoon celery seed (5 ml/2.5g)
- ¼ teaspoon salt (1.25 ml/1.5g), or to taste
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper (0.6 ml/0.5g), or to taste
Instructions:
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, celery seed, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk the ingredients together until smooth and well combined. Ensure the sugar is fully dissolved.
- Taste the dressing and adjust seasoning as needed. Add more sugar for sweetness, vinegar for tanginess, or salt and pepper to taste.
- For best flavor, cover the dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before using. This allows the flavors to meld.
- Toss the dressing with your prepared coleslaw mix (shredded cabbage, carrots, etc.) just before serving.
