Ingredients:

  • 1 large sweet potato (about 350g / 12 oz), scrubbed and cut into ½-inch thick fries
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (15 ml)
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (5 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (2.5 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder (2.5 ml)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (2.5 ml)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1.25 ml)

Instructions:

  1. Wash and cut the sweet potato into fries, ensuring they are roughly the same size for even cooking.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer (if your model requires it). Place the seasoned fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  4. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are tender on the inside and crispy and golden brown on the outside.
  5. Remove from the air fryer and serve hot.
