Ingredients:
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2-3 fresh jalapeño peppers, stemmed and roughly chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Salt, to taste
- Optional: 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro or parsley, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Chop the jalapeños and mince the garlic.
- In a blender, combine sour cream and mayonnaise.
- Add chopped jalapeños, minced garlic, lime juice, and a pinch of salt to the blender.
- Blend until creamy and well-combined, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Taste the crema and adjust salt or lime juice as desired.
- Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors.
- Stir again before serving and optionally garnish with fresh herbs.
