  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together fresh lemon juice, heavy cream, Dijon mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper until well blended.
  2. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while continuing to whisk vigorously until sauce thickens slightly.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary, adding more salt, pepper, or lemon juice to achieve desired flavor.
  4. If serving warm, transfer sauce to a small saucepan and gently heat over low heat, stirring occasionally. Avoid boiling.
  5. Drizzle sauce over your choice of dish and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
