Ingredients:

  • 2 shots espresso (about 2 ounces / 60 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup (30 ml)
  • 1 cup milk (240 ml, whole, 2%, or a non-dairy alternative)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (240 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar (15 g)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5 ml)
  • Sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)
  • Cocoa powder or cinnamon for dusting (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brew the espresso shots and set aside.
  2. In a small pot or microwave
  3. In a glass or jug, combine the brewed espresso and vanilla syrup. Mix well.
  4. Use a frother or whisk to froth the warm milk until its creamy and slightly frothy.
  5. Pour the frothed milk into the espresso mixture and stir gently to combine.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Whip until soft peaks form.
  7. Spoon the whipped cream generously over the latte.
  8. Top with sprinkles, cocoa powder, or cinnamon, as desired.
