Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (40g) Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup (240ml) Milk (Dairy or non-dairy)
  • 2 tablespoons (14g) Chia Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Optional)
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Fresh fruit (berries, banana slices, chopped apple)
  • Nuts and Seeds (almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds)
  • Nut butter (peanut butter, almond butter)
  • Chocolate chips
  • Jam or preserves

Instructions:

  1. In your jar or container, combine the rolled oats, milk, chia seeds, maple syrup (or sweetener), vanilla extract (if using), and salt.
  2. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  3. Cover the container with a lid and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
  4. The next morning, check the consistency. If the oats are too thick, add a splash more milk. If they are too thin, add a sprinkle more chia seeds and let them sit for another 15 minutes.
  5. Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
