Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (40g) Rolled Oats
- 1 cup (240ml) Milk (Dairy or non-dairy)
- 2 tablespoons (14g) Chia Seeds
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) Maple Syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract (Optional)
- Pinch of Salt
- Fresh fruit (berries, banana slices, chopped apple)
- Nuts and Seeds (almonds, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds)
- Nut butter (peanut butter, almond butter)
- Chocolate chips
- Jam or preserves
Instructions:
- In your jar or container, combine the rolled oats, milk, chia seeds, maple syrup (or sweetener), vanilla extract (if using), and salt.
- Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Cover the container with a lid and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
- The next morning, check the consistency. If the oats are too thick, add a splash more milk. If they are too thin, add a sprinkle more chia seeds and let them sit for another 15 minutes.
- Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
