Ingredients:

  • 1 large frozen banana, peeled and sliced (approx. 150g)
  • 1 cup (240ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) full-fat coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp (16g) almond butter
  • 1 tsp (3g) ground turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp (1.5g) fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp (1g) ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 Medjool date, pitted (approx. 24g)
  • 1 tsp (5g) hemp seeds
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) pure vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Pour the unsweetened almond milk and full-fat coconut milk into the blender canister first.
  2. Add the ground turmeric, grated ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, and vanilla extract to the liquid base to ensure the spices hydrate properly.
  3. Add the frozen banana slices, almond butter, pitted Medjool date, and hemp seeds.
  4. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and reaches a velvety, soft-serve-like consistency. Use a silicone spatula to scrape down the sides if necessary.
