Ingredients:

  • fluid ounces (60 ml) Good quality Vodka
  • /4 ounce (22 ml) Fresh-squeezed Lime Juice
  • –6 fluid ounces (120–180 ml) Spicy Ginger Beer
  • Ice (Enough to fill the glass)
  • Lime wheel or wedge for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Chill the copper mug (or glass) in the freezer for at least 10 minutes prior to starting.
  2. Add the vodka and fresh lime juice directly into the chilled mug.
  3. Fill the mug completely to the brim with ice cubes.
  4. Slowly pour the cold ginger beer over the ice, leaving about half an inch of space at the top.
  5. Use a bar spoon to gently lift the ingredients from the bottom once or twice. Avoid over-stirring to preserve carbonation.
  6. Place the lime wheel or wedge directly onto the rim of the mug. Serve immediately.
