Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (113g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup (118ml) Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.5g) garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon (0.75g) cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Pinch of salt, to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter completely. Don't let it brown!
  2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and gradually whisk in the hot sauce until fully combined and smooth.
  3. Whisk in the white vinegar, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  4. Add a pinch of salt to taste, adjusting the amount to balance the flavors. Remember, hot sauce can be salty!
  5. For a slightly thicker sauce, simmer on low heat for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Be careful not to let it boil!
  6. Time to add your sauce to a big bowl and add wings and coat.
