Ingredients:
- ounces (60 ml) good quality Vodka, chilled
- ounce (22 ml) freshly squeezed Lime Juice
- –6 ounces (120–180 ml) high quality, spicy Ginger Beer
- Ice (crushed or small cubes)
- Lime Wheel or Wedge, for garnish
Instructions:
- If using a copper mug, place it in the freezer for 10 minutes prior to mixing for maximum chill.
- Add the measured Vodka and fresh Lime Juice directly into the chilled mug or glass.
- Fill the glass completely with ice (crushed ice is recommended for faster chilling).
- Slowly pour the chilled Ginger Beer over the ice, leaving about half an inch of headspace at the top.
- Using a long spoon, gently lift the ingredients from the bottom once or twice to integrate them. Do not over-stir to preserve the carbonation.
- Garnish immediately with a fresh lime wheel or wedge placed on the rim or dropped into the drink. Serve immediately.
