Ingredients:

  • ounces (60 ml) good quality Vodka, chilled
  • ounce (22 ml) freshly squeezed Lime Juice
  • –6 ounces (120–180 ml) high quality, spicy Ginger Beer
  • Ice (crushed or small cubes)
  • Lime Wheel or Wedge, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. If using a copper mug, place it in the freezer for 10 minutes prior to mixing for maximum chill.
  2. Add the measured Vodka and fresh Lime Juice directly into the chilled mug or glass.
  3. Fill the glass completely with ice (crushed ice is recommended for faster chilling).
  4. Slowly pour the chilled Ginger Beer over the ice, leaving about half an inch of headspace at the top.
  5. Using a long spoon, gently lift the ingredients from the bottom once or twice to integrate them. Do not over-stir to preserve the carbonation.
  6. Garnish immediately with a fresh lime wheel or wedge placed on the rim or dropped into the drink. Serve immediately.
