Ingredients:
- cup Mayonnaise (Full-fat recommended)
- tablespoons Ketchup
- teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- teaspoon Fresh Lemon Juice
- teaspoon HP Sauce or A1 Steak Sauce
- ½ teaspoon Granulated Sugar
- ¾ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Onion Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Coarse Ground Black Pepper
- ¼ teaspoon Salt (or to taste)
Instructions:
- Place the full cup of mayonnaise into the mixing bowl.
- Add the ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, fresh lemon juice, and steak sauce (or HP Sauce) to the mayonnaise.
- Sprinkle in the granulated sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt over the wet ingredients.
- Using the whisk or spatula, vigorously mix all ingredients together until the sauce is uniformly smooth, creamy, and a consistent pale pink colour. Ensure no clumps of powder remain.
- Perform a quality check. Adjust salt or sugar if necessary by adding a small pinch at a time.
- Cover the bowl tightly (or transfer to an airtight container) and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour to allow the spices to meld.
- Give the chilled sauce a final stir before serving alongside your favourite fried items.
