Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 cup (30g) Packed Fresh Spinach, thoroughly washed
  • ½ cup (20g) Packed Fresh Kale, stems removed, thoroughly washed
  • ½ medium (75g) Frozen Banana, sliced
  • ½ cup (80g) Frozen Mango chunks
  • ¼ medium (35g) Avocado, pitted and scooped
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Chia Seeds
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon (5 ml) Honey or Maple Syrup, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Add almond milk to the blender jar.
  2. Add spinach and kale on top of the almond milk.
  3. Add the frozen banana, frozen mango, avocado, chia seeds, and lime juice. Add sweetener, if using.
  4. Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the desired consistency is reached.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness, lime juice, or thickness as needed.
  6. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
