Ingredients:
- 1 cup (150g) frozen strawberries
- 1 medium (120g) ripe banana, peeled and sliced
- ½ cup (120ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- ¼ cup (60g) Greek yogurt (optional)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) honey or maple syrup (optional)
- ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) vanilla extract (optional)
- 4-5 ice cubes
Instructions:
- Add the frozen strawberries, banana slices, milk, Greek yogurt (if using), honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract (if using) to your blender.
- Add the ice cubes.
- Secure the lid and blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender if necessary.
- If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash of milk and blend again. If it's too thin, add a few more ice cubes or frozen strawberries.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately. Garnish with a fresh strawberry slice or a banana slice, if desired.
