Ingredients:

  • 4 ounces (120 ml) tequila
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) fresh lime juice
  • 1 ounce (30 ml) agave syrup
  • 1-2 jalapeños, sliced
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedges
  • Sliced jalapeño for garnish
  • Coarse sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the glass by rimming it with lime juice and dipping it in coarse sea salt, if desired.
  2. Add the sliced jalapeños to a cocktail shaker and muddle gently to release their oils.
  3. Add tequila, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup to the shaker.
  4. Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
  5. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of jalapeño on top.
