Ingredients:
- 4 ounces (120 ml) tequila
- 2 ounces (60 ml) fresh lime juice
- 1 ounce (30 ml) agave syrup
- 1-2 jalapeños, sliced
- Ice cubes
- Lime wedges
- Sliced jalapeño for garnish
- Coarse sea salt
Instructions:
- Prepare the glass by rimming it with lime juice and dipping it in coarse sea salt, if desired.
- Add the sliced jalapeños to a cocktail shaker and muddle gently to release their oils.
- Add tequila, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup to the shaker.
- Fill the shaker with ice, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of jalapeño on top.
