Ingredients:

  • 2 cans (16 oz / 450g) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon (8g) ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 2 packages (16 oz / 450g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups (300g) granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons (45ml) honey

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll one can of crescent rolls and press the dough evenly into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, smoothing out any seams.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and 1 1/2 cups of sugar until smooth and no lumps remain.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract using a spatula.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the bottom crescent layer, smoothing the top until level.
  6. Place the second can of crescent rolls over the cream cheese layer.
  7. Brush the top dough layer with melted butter until fully glistening.
  8. Mix the cinnamon and 1/4 cup sugar, then sprinkle generously across the buttered surface.
  9. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the edges are deep golden brown and the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  10. Remove from oven and immediately drizzle with honey while hot.
