Ingredients:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.5 tsp sea salt

Instructions:

  1. In a large glass bowl or reusable silicone bag, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, and sea salt until emulsified.
  2. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade, tossing thoroughly to ensure even coating.
  3. Allow the shrimp to marinate for 15 to 30 minutes. Do not exceed 30 minutes to prevent the acid from making the texture mushy.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Flash-cook the shrimp for approximately 2 minutes per side until they are opaque, pink, and have reached a snappy texture.
