Ingredients:
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 0.5 tsp sea salt
Instructions:
- In a large glass bowl or reusable silicone bag, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, and sea salt until emulsified.
- Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the marinade, tossing thoroughly to ensure even coating.
- Allow the shrimp to marinate for 15 to 30 minutes. Do not exceed 30 minutes to prevent the acid from making the texture mushy.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Flash-cook the shrimp for approximately 2 minutes per side until they are opaque, pink, and have reached a snappy texture.
