Ingredients:
- 1 (3.4 ounce/96g) package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 3 cups (710ml) cold milk, whole or 2%
- 1 (8 ounce/227g) container whipped topping, thawed
- 3-4 medium ripe bananas, sliced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 (12 ounce/340g) box vanilla wafers
Instructions:
- Whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk in a large bowl until smooth. Let stand for 5 minutes to thicken.
- Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the pudding mixture until well combined.
- Slice the bananas and toss them gently with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- In your serving dish, arrange a layer of vanilla wafers. Top with a layer of sliced bananas, followed by a layer of pudding.
- Repeat the layers (wafers, bananas, pudding) until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the wafers to soften.
- Serve chilled and enjoy!
