Ingredients:

  • 1 (3.4 ounce/96g) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups (710ml) cold milk, whole or 2%
  • 1 (8 ounce/227g) container whipped topping, thawed
  • 3-4 medium ripe bananas, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 (12 ounce/340g) box vanilla wafers

Instructions:

  1. Whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and cold milk in a large bowl until smooth. Let stand for 5 minutes to thicken.
  2. Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the pudding mixture until well combined.
  3. Slice the bananas and toss them gently with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  4. In your serving dish, arrange a layer of vanilla wafers. Top with a layer of sliced bananas, followed by a layer of pudding.
  5. Repeat the layers (wafers, bananas, pudding) until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding.
  6. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the wafers to soften.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!
