Ingredients:

  • 4 ripe but firm peaches (approx. 1.5 lbs / 680g)
  • 1 tbsp melted coconut oil or avocado oil
  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Slice the peaches along the seam from top to bottom. Gently twist the two halves apart and remove the pit.
  2. Brush the cut side of each peach half with a thin layer of oil to prevent sticking and enhance heat conduction.
  3. Place the peaches cut-side down on a medium-high grill (approx. 400°F / 200°C). Press down lightly with tongs to ensure contact.
  4. Grill for 4–6 minutes without moving them until deep, mahogany-colored grill marks appear.
  5. Flip the peaches to the skin side for 2–3 minutes to warm the center.
  6. During the final minute, brush the honey-cinnamon glaze over the charred surface.
  7. Remove from heat once the glaze is bubbling and the peach feels slightly softened but not collapsing.
