Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240 ml) vodka (high-quality recommended)
  • 2-3 fresh jalapeños, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) lime zest (approximately 1 lime)
  • 4 ounces (120 ml) spicy vodka (prepared from infusion)
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) fresh lime juice (approximately 2 limes)
  • 2 ounces (60 ml) tonic water or soda water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedges (for garnish)
  • Jalapeño slices (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Slice jalapeños and add them to a glass jar.
  2. Pour vodka over the jalapeños and add lime zest.
  3. Seal the jar and shake gently; let infuse at room temperature for 1 hour.
  4. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  5. Add the spicy vodka and fresh lime juice to the shaker.
  6. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
  7. Strain the mixture into ice-filled glasses.
  8. Top with tonic water or soda water for a refreshing finish.
  9. Garnish with lime wedges and jalapeño slices for flair.
