Ingredients:
- 1 lb bok choy, cleaned and halved lengthwise
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Rinse bok choy thoroughly under cold water to remove any grit.
- Slice bok choy in half lengthwise and cut off any tough ends if needed.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic to the hot oil. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the halved bok choy to the skillet with cut side down.
- Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the leaves are bright green and the stalks are tender-crisp.
- Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the bok choy and toss to coat evenly.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy hot.
