Ingredients:

  • 2 teaspoons matcha green tea powder
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)
  • 1 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes

Instructions:

  1. Boil water and let it cool slightly to around 175°F (80°C).
  2. In a small bowl, whisk matcha powder and hot water until smooth and frothy.
  3. Stir in honey or maple syrup, adjusting to taste.
  4. Fill two glasses with ice cubes.
  5. Pour the milk over the ice.
  6. Gently pour the matcha mixture over the milk.
  7. Stir gently before drinking and enjoy.
