Ingredients:

  • Red Gelatin (3 oz / 85g)
  • Orange Gelatin (3 oz / 85g)
  • Yellow Gelatin (3 oz / 85g)
  • Green Gelatin (3 oz / 85g)
  • Blue Gelatin (3 oz / 85g)
  • Purple Gelatin (3 oz / 85g)
  • Boiling water - 6 cups (1.4 liters)
  • Cold water - 3 cups (710ml)
  • Optional: Sweetened Condensed Milk (14 oz / 397g)

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve the first gelatin flavor (e.g., red) in 1 cup (240ml) boiling water. Stir until completely dissolved.
  2. Stir in ½ cup (120ml) cold water to the first layer.
  3. Pour the first layer into the baking dish, spreading evenly.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1-2 hours, or until set but still slightly jiggly to the touch.
  5. Repeat steps 1-4 with each remaining gelatin flavor, always chilling each layer completely before adding the next. For a creamy layer, stir 2 tbsp of sweetened condensed milk into the warm gelatin and mix well before adding the cold water.
  6. Once all layers are complete, chill the entire dish for at least 2 hours before serving.
  7. Cut the layered Jello into squares or rectangles and serve.
