Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brewed coffee (strong or espresso preferred)
  • ¼ cup milk (whole, skim, or plant-based)
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • Pinch of salt
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Extra sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Brew coffee or espresso and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine milk, pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and salt. Whisk continuously until well incorporated and heated, but not boiling.
  3. Remove from heat and use a frother or whisk to froth the milk mixture.
  4. Pour the brewed coffee equally into two mugs.
  5. Add the frothy pumpkin milk mixture to each mug.
  6. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice, if desired.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!
