Ingredients:

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the saucepan over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes), being careful not to brown it.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream, whisking to combine with the garlic and butter. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and combined. Continue to whisk until the sauce is smooth.
  5. Add salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  6. Remove from heat. Optionally garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
