- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
- Heat the saucepan over medium heat. Add the butter and let it melt.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes), being careful not to brown it.
- Pour in the heavy cream, whisking to combine with the garlic and butter. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until fully melted and combined. Continue to whisk until the sauce is smooth.
- Add salt and black pepper to taste. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Remove from heat. Optionally garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
