  • 1/2 teaspoon (2g) black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) garlic powder (optional)
  • Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) balsamic vinegar (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse and trim the green beans by removing the ends.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine trimmed green beans, olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder or lemon zest.
  4. Arrange the green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and slightly charred, tossing halfway through.
  6. (Optional) Drizzle with balsamic vinegar after removing from the oven for a tangy finish.
