- 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
- 1 teaspoon (5g) sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon (2g) black pepper, freshly ground
- 1 teaspoon (5g) garlic powder (optional)
- Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) balsamic vinegar (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Rinse and trim the green beans by removing the ends.
- In a mixing bowl, combine trimmed green beans, olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional garlic powder or lemon zest.
- Arrange the green beans in a single layer on a baking sheet, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes until tender and slightly charred, tossing halfway through.
- (Optional) Drizzle with balsamic vinegar after removing from the oven for a tangy finish.
- Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy warm!
