Ingredients:
- 1 cup (190g) quinoa, rinsed thoroughly
- 2 cups (475 ml) water or broth
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
Instructions:
- Place the quinoa in a fine-mesh sieve and rinse under cold running water for 1-2 minutes, until the water runs clear.
- In a saucepan, combine the rinsed quinoa, water (or broth), and salt.
- Bring the mixture to a rolling boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan tightly, and simmer for 15 minutes. Do not lift the lid during simmering!
- Remove the saucepan from the heat (still covered!) and let it stand for 5 minutes.
- After resting, gently fluff the quinoa with a fork.
