Ingredients:
- 1 cup (200g) long-grain white rice, jasmine rice, or basmati rice, rinsed well
- 1 1/4 cups (300ml) water
- 1/2 teaspoon (3g) salt (optional)
Instructions:
- Place the rice in a fine-mesh sieve and rinse under cold running water until the water runs clear.
- Add the rinsed rice, water, and salt (if using) to the Instant Pot inner pot.
- Secure the Instant Pot lid, ensuring the steam release valve is in the sealing position. Press the Rice button.
- Once the cooking cycle is complete, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes of NPR, carefully release any remaining pressure manually by moving the steam release valve to the venting position.
- Once all the pressure is released and the pin has dropped, carefully open the lid. Fluff the rice gently with a fork and serve immediately.
