Ingredients:

  • 1.5 lbs (680g) Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) cubes
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5g) garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25g) paprika (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Peel and cube the potatoes into uniform sizes for even cooking.
  2. Place the potatoes in a large bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder (if using), and paprika (if using). Toss to coat evenly.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches.
  4. Air fry for 10-12 minutes. Then, remove the basket and shake or flip the potatoes.
  5. Return the basket to the air fryer and continue cooking for another 10-12 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Check for doneness by piercing with a fork.
  6. Remove the potatoes from the air fryer and serve hot.
