Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown rice
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions:

  1. Rinse the brown rice by placing it in a fine mesh strainer and rinsing under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Add the rinsed brown rice, water, olive oil, and salt to the Instant Pot.
  3. Close the lid of the Instant Pot and ensure the pressure valve is set to 'Sealing.'
  4. Select the 'Manual' or 'Pressure Cook' setting and adjust the time to 22 minutes on high pressure.
  5. Once the cooking time is complete, let the pressure release naturally for about 10 minutes, then carefully release any remaining pressure.
  6. Open the lid, fluff the rice with a fork, and serve.
