Ingredients:
- ½ cup (45g) rolled oats (not instant)
- 1 cup (240ml) milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) chia seeds (optional)
- 1 tablespoon (15g) peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
- 1 tablespoon (15g) jelly or jam (strawberry, grape, raspberry)
- ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions:
- In your jar, combine the rolled oats, milk, and chia seeds (if using).
- Dollop the peanut butter and jelly on top of the oat mixture. Do not stir yet.
- Add the vanilla extract, if using.
- Secure the lid tightly and refrigerate overnight (at least 6-8 hours).
- In the morning, give the mixture a good stir to combine all the ingredients. If the oats are too thick, add a splash of milk.
- Top with your favourite toppings, such as chopped peanuts and fresh berries, before serving. Enjoy your peanut butter and jelly overnight oats.
