Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken wings, party cut
- 1 tbsp aluminum-free baking powder
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ⅓ cup melted unsalted butter
- ½ cup hot sauce
- 1 tsp honey
Instructions:
- Pat every single wing bone dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, toss the dried wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until evenly coated.
- Space the wings evenly on an oven safe wire rack set over a rimmed baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching.
- Bake at 425°F (218°C) for 45 minutes.
- Flip the wings at the 22 minute mark until you see the skin beginning to blister and brown.
- Remove from oven and let the wings rest for 3-5 minutes to set the crust.
- Melt the butter in a small pan or microwave.
- Mix the melted butter, hot sauce, and honey in a clean bowl.
- Transfer wings to the bowl and toss until fully coated.
