Ingredients:

  • 1 box (15.25 oz / 432 g) vanilla cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup (240 ml) water
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) vegetable oil
  • 12 oz (340 g) white chocolate melting wafers
  • Black food coloring gel
  • Pink candy melts (for the bow)
  • Edible eyes (or small chocolate chips for the eyes)
  • Lollipop sticks
  • Parchment paper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine cake mix, eggs, water, and oil in a bowl; whisk until smooth. Pour batter into greased baking dish, bake for 25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  2. Allow the cake to cool completely, then crumble into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mix 1/2 cup of frosting into the crumbled cake until combined. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on parchment-lined tray.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate wafers in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  6. Dip the end of each lollipop stick into the melted chocolate and insert into the cake balls. Dip each ball in the melted chocolate to coat. Allow excess to drip off.
  7. Use black food coloring to pipe whiskers. Attach edible eyes and shape pink candy melts into bows.
  8. Insert cake pops into a stand to set and harden completely.
