Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey for a lighter option)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 package Lipton Onion Soup Mix
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup uncooked pasta (any shape)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup water
- Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, Lipton onion soup mix, and milk.
- Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into meatballs (about 1 inch each) and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 minutes or until browned.
- In the baking dish, mix marinara sauce, uncooked pasta, water, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Once the meatballs are done, add them to the casserole mix and stir gently to combine.
- Top with remaining mozzarella cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it cool slightly, then garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
