Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (low sodium)
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 large lemon, sliced in half
Instructions:
- Whisk together the honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and black pepper in a small bowl and set aside.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels and season with salt and vegetable oil.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (approx. 400°F/200°C). Place thighs on the grate and sear for 5–6 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches about 150°F (65°C).
- Place the lemon halves cut-side down on the grill.
- During the final 3 minutes of cooking, generously brush the glaze onto both sides of the chicken, rotating frequently to avoid burning.
- Remove the chicken from the grill when the internal temperature hits 175°F (80°C).
