Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of sourdough or Italian bread (about 200g)
  • 1 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced (about 250g)
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce (about 120g)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil leaves, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried basil)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened (about 30g)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Mix the mozzarella
  2. Heat the skillet over medium heat and place the sandwich in the skillet. Grill for about 3-5 minutes
  3. Remove the sandwich from the skillet, cut in half, and serve warm.
