Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 fresh tuna steaks, approximately 6 ounces each
- Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and ginger. Whisk until evenly blended and season with salt and pepper.
- Place tuna steaks in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let marinate for 5 minutes while the grill heats up.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Remove tuna from marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Grill steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach desired doneness.
- Use a meat thermometer to check; internal temperature should reach 130°F for medium-rare.
- Remove from the grill, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve immediately.
