Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 fresh tuna steaks, approximately 6 ounces each
  • Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and ginger. Whisk until evenly blended and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Place tuna steaks in the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let marinate for 5 minutes while the grill heats up.
  3. Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove tuna from marinade, allowing excess to drip off. Grill steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side or until they reach desired doneness.
  5. Use a meat thermometer to check; internal temperature should reach 130°F for medium-rare.
  6. Remove from the grill, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve immediately.
