- 2 tablespoons fresh mint, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh oregano, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)

- 1/2 cup (60g) cucumber, peeled, seeded, and grated, then squeezed dry
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped

- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper (or to taste)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Tzatziki: Grate, seed, and drain the cucumber. Combine all tzatziki ingredients in a small bowl. Stir well and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Prepare the Meatball Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped onion, minced garlic, Panko breadcrumbs, beaten egg, olive oil, fresh herbs (parsley, mint, oregano), lemon juice, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
- Mix Thoroughly: Gently mix all ingredients with your hands until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- Chill the Mixture: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help the meatballs hold their shape.
- Shape the Meatballs: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (optional). Roll the turkey mixture into roughly 1-inch meatballs.
- Bake the Meatballs: Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with olive oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). The meatballs should be golden brown on the outside.
- Serve: Serve the baked Greek turkey meatballs warm, drizzled with the homemade tzatziki sauce.
