Ingredients:
- 1 cup (170g) uncooked quinoa, rinsed well
- 1 ¾ cups (420ml) water or broth
- Pinch of salt (Optional, to taste)
Instructions:
- Place the quinoa in a fine-mesh sieve and rinse under cold running water for 1-2 minutes. Drain well.
- Add the rinsed quinoa, water (or broth), and salt (if using) to the Instant Pot.
- Secure the Instant Pot lid, making sure the valve is set to the sealing position. Select the Manual or Pressure Cook setting and set the cooking time to 1 minute on high pressure.
- Once the cooking time is complete, allow the Instant Pot to naturally release pressure for 10-15 minutes.
- After 10-15 minutes of natural pressure release, carefully release any remaining pressure by turning the valve to the venting position.
- Open the Instant Pot and fluff the quinoa with a fork. Serve immediately or store for later use.
