Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (170g) uncooked quinoa, rinsed well
  • 1 ¾ cups (420ml) water or broth
  • Pinch of salt (Optional, to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Place the quinoa in a fine-mesh sieve and rinse under cold running water for 1-2 minutes. Drain well.
  2. Add the rinsed quinoa, water (or broth), and salt (if using) to the Instant Pot.
  3. Secure the Instant Pot lid, making sure the valve is set to the sealing position. Select the Manual or Pressure Cook setting and set the cooking time to 1 minute on high pressure.
  4. Once the cooking time is complete, allow the Instant Pot to naturally release pressure for 10-15 minutes.
  5. After 10-15 minutes of natural pressure release, carefully release any remaining pressure by turning the valve to the venting position.
  6. Open the Instant Pot and fluff the quinoa with a fork. Serve immediately or store for later use.
