Ingredients:
- 1 cup (200g) Long-grain brown rice, rinsed thoroughly
- 1 1/4 cups (300ml) Water
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) Salt (optional, adjust to taste)
Instructions:
- Place the brown rice in a fine-mesh sieve and rinse under cold running water until the water runs clear (about 1-2 minutes). This removes excess starch for fluffier rice.
- Add the rinsed brown rice, water, and salt (if using) to the Instant Pot.
- Close the lid and ensure the steam release valve is in the Sealing position. Cook on high pressure for 22 minutes.
- Allow the Instant Pot to naturally release pressure for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, manually release any remaining pressure.
- Open the lid carefully. Fluff the rice with a fork. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve immediately.
