Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (120g) All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup (200g) Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 cup (45g) Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup (113g or 1 stick) Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup (100g) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, melted
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate chips together, stirring until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Pour the melted butter-chocolate mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.
