Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.
  2. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant; avoid browning the garlic.
  3. Slowly pour in the heavy cream while whisking consistently to combine.
  4. Add kosher salt and black pepper to taste, stirring well.
  5. Stir in freshly chopped parsley, basil, and thyme. Allow the sauce to simmer for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed; remove from heat. Optional: For an ultra-smooth sauce, blend with an immersion blender.
