Ingredients:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (170g)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil (15ml, for thinning chocolate, optional)
  • 12 chocolate-covered almonds (or mini pretzels)
  • Sprinkles or edible glitter (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Hold a pretzel rod by one end and dip it into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Place dipped pretzel on the lined baking sheet.
  4. While the chocolate is still soft, gently press two chocolate-covered almonds or mini pretzels onto the top of each pretzel rod to form antlers.
  5. Refrigerate the pretzel rods for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate has fully set.
  6. If desired, sprinkle with additional decoration before the chocolate hardens.
