  • 1 cup almond milk (240ml) or other milk of choice (e.g., coconut milk, cow's milk)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (30ml) (optional, adjust for sweetness)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
  • Fresh fruits (e.g., berry mix, banana slices)
  • Granola (for crunch)
  • Nuts or seeds (e.g., almonds, pumpkin seeds)
  • A sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa powder

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl or mason jar, combine chia seeds, almond milk, maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract.
  2. Whisk or stir until the chia seeds are evenly distributed and there are no clumps.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for a thicker pudding.
  4. After chilling, stir the pudding. It should be creamy and have a gel-like texture.
  5. Spoon into serving bowls and top with your choice of fruits, granola, nuts, and a sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa.
