Ingredients:
- 1 round Brie cheese (approximately 8 oz / 227 g)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- Crackers or sliced baguette for serving
- Fresh fruit (such as apple slices or grapes) for serving
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Place chopped walnuts on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until fragrant and golden.
- Place the brie cheese in a small baking dish or skillet lined with parchment paper. Slice the top rind off the brie if desired.
- Drizzle honey generously over the brie. Sprinkle the toasted walnuts and thyme on top, and add a pinch of salt.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the brie is soft and melted.
- Carefully remove from the oven, allow to cool for a couple of minutes, and serve warm with crackers or fresh fruit for dipping.
