Ingredients:

  • 1 round Brie cheese (approximately 8 oz / 227 g)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Crackers or sliced baguette for serving
  • Fresh fruit (such as apple slices or grapes) for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place chopped walnuts on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until fragrant and golden.
  3. Place the brie cheese in a small baking dish or skillet lined with parchment paper. Slice the top rind off the brie if desired.
  4. Drizzle honey generously over the brie. Sprinkle the toasted walnuts and thyme on top, and add a pinch of salt.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the brie is soft and melted.
  6. Carefully remove from the oven, allow to cool for a couple of minutes, and serve warm with crackers or fresh fruit for dipping.
