Ingredients:

  • 200g curly kale
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp flaked sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

Instructions:

  1. Wash the kale thoroughly in cold water and use a salad spinner or lint-free towel to pat the leaves completely dry.
  2. Tear the kale leaves into irregular, bite-sized pieces, discarding the woody center stems.
  3. Place dried kale in a large bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and massage the oil into the leaves for about 60 seconds until glossy.
  4. Sprinkle sea salt and garlic powder over the kale and toss to distribute seasoning evenly.
  5. For oven method: Spread leaves in a single layer on a parchment-lined sheet and bake at 325°F (160°C) for 12–15 minutes until edges curl.
  6. For air fryer method: Place kale in the basket and cook at 300°F (150°C) for 4–7 minutes, shaking halfway through.
