Ingredients:
- 4 medium russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
Instructions:
- Wash and peel the russet potatoes if desired. Cut into even, thin strips about ¼ inch thick.
- Place potato strips in a large bowl of cold water and soak for at least 30 minutes to release excess starch.
- Drain the potatoes and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
- Toss the dried potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional spices until evenly coated.
- Preheat your air fryer at 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place seasoned fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 20-25 minutes, shaking halfway through for even crisping.
- Fries are ready when golden brown and crispy. Adjust cooking time if needed.
- Remove fries from air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dips.
