Ingredients:

  • 4 medium russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika

Instructions:

  1. Wash and peel the russet potatoes if desired. Cut into even, thin strips about ¼ inch thick.
  2. Place potato strips in a large bowl of cold water and soak for at least 30 minutes to release excess starch.
  3. Drain the potatoes and pat dry thoroughly with paper towels.
  4. Toss the dried potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, and optional spices until evenly coated.
  5. Preheat your air fryer at 380°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  6. Place seasoned fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 20-25 minutes, shaking halfway through for even crisping.
  7. Fries are ready when golden brown and crispy. Adjust cooking time if needed.
  8. Remove fries from air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dips.
