Ingredients:

  • 900g English cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 60g red onion, thinly sliced into half-moons
  • 15g fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 120g sour cream
  • 60g mayonnaise
  • 30ml apple cider vinegar
  • 12g granulated sugar
  • 6g salt
  • 3g black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Slice the cucumbers into thin rounds. Toss them in a colander with 6g of salt and let them sit for 20–30 minutes. Gently pat them dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, pepper, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until completely smooth and the sugar has dissolved.
  3. Add the dried cucumber slices and red onion to the bowl. Fold gently with a spatula until every slice is coated. Stir in the fresh dill last.
