Ingredients:
- 12 oz wide egg noodles
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 lb imitation crab meat, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 cups fried wonton strips
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the noodles and cook for 2 minutes less than the package directions. Drain and toss with 2 tbsp of butter to prevent sticking.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Fold in the mayonnaise, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and sugar until uniform.
- Stir in the minced garlic, sliced green onions, and chopped imitation crab, ensuring the protein is evenly distributed.
- Fold in the cooked noodles and half of the mozzarella cheese until the noodles are fully coated.
- Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella over the surface.
- Toss wonton strips with melted butter and garlic powder, then scatter them evenly across the top.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until the edges are bubbling and the topping is mahogany gold.
